Yep there are problems. I think I'm driving a lemon right now. Had to get my 21 Sorento SX Prestige x line with the DCT and turbo 4 towed to the dealer last Monday. Over that previous weekend it got stuck in first or second gear. Upon restart didn't have a problem for the rest of the weekend. Then come Monday couldn't get it in any gear.

If it's done 18,000 miles then the gearbox should be plenty worn in and running smoothly - if it is annoying you then yes, mention it to the dealer under the warranty, could be the start of a problem. Don't leave it - one day you might find you can't select a gear at all.
If this purely a software issue, it is much easier and can be reflashed or the ECU fully replaced. If a hardware issue, it is probably crucial actuators / sensors in the 'Mechatronics' (a dreaded term known to Skoda owners of which I am one), i.e. the electro-mechanical brain of the DCT is malfunctioning.
Hi all. I have a cee'd 1.6 crdi 113bhp 60 reg 15K miles. Love the car but have an ongoing issue with the 1st 3 gears. Not sure what the proper technical term is for describing this but when I change into 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear it feels as if there is movement in the cogs and they make a clonking/scraping noise. 4th, 5th and 6th are much smoother.
